Thank you for your interest in Maara House. The admissions process is about building a relationship – giving your family an opportunity to get to know our school and community deeply; and giving us a chance to get to know your family. Our goal is to assist you in the exciting and sometimes daunting task of choosing an educational community that is the best fit for your child and for your family.
STEP ONE: ATTEND A PARENT Q&A. These are held 3 x per year.
STEP TWO: SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
STEP THREE: PRE VISIT INTERVIEW – is set up between the school and parent/s in order for you to ask questions in a one-on-one setting and tell us about your hopes and expectations for your child’s education.
STEP FOUR: VISIT MH – your child will spend 2 days at Maara House
STEP FIVE: POST VISIT – We will meet with the parent/s after the visit to provide feedback on the visit, clarify anything and decide whether this is a good fit for your child and family.
The school keeps the basic term dates of the Western Cape Government schools. Please note that in most terms we start a day later to allow for the Maara House staff planning meeting at the beginning of the term.
